An exhibition from the Oviatt Library's collections, tracing the development of comic books from their beginnings in the 1930s to the end of the 20th century. On display were early comic strips, as well as comic books from Eastern Color Printing Company, Dell Comics, Gold Key Comics, Marvel Comics Group, and DC Comics. The exhibition featured materials from the Library's collections of illustrator Chase Craig and collector David S. Somerville, and the personal correspondence of illustrator Carl Barks.
