Urban Archives Center

The Urban Archives Center primarily documents the history of greater Los Angeles by collecting original research materials, oral histories, photographs, and related reference sources. Acquisitions are donated by voluntary associations and community leaders and individuals that have made an important impact on.

Major subjects of our holdings include: Urban Development, Education, Labor and Guild History, Journalism, Minority and Ethnic Studies, Politics and Women of Los Angeles.
