Go to eHRAF World Cultures
The following quick-start guide has been created for CSUN students and researchers.
The eHRAF World Cultures database contains more than 350,000 pages of descriptive information on the cultures of the world. The full-text materials are subject-indexed at the paragraph-level for precise retrieval of information on all aspects of cultural and social life. Over 130 cultures are included (see the Human Relations Area Files home page for a current list; there is also a paper copy of the list at the reference desk).
In addition to Basic, Advanced and Bibliography search options, you can Browse by Culture, Subject, Region, Country or OCM code.
