- United States Reports Various years of U. S. Supreme Court decisions
are available at free internet sites. Some free sites include just selected
cases, particularly the FLITE
database of selected historic decisions from 1937-1975, while others also
include recent decisions or more comprehensive coverage of older decisions.
Exact coverage provided by free sites changes frequently so take the time
to check the dates of coverage provided by each site and whether coverage
is for all cases in those years or only the most important cases. Also,
if using the information for legal purposes, be aware that the printed reports
are the "official version" and read the Supreme Court's Information
about Opinions.
