Do not pay for articles, even if you see a screen like this:
If the Oviatt does not have the title you need (and this includes books, DVDs, CDs, scores, etc) we can often borrow it from another library on your behalf.
Find the item using WorldCat and click on Find Text when you find the right one.
Then log onto Interlibrary Loan.
ILL can often receive PDFs of articles and deliver them electronically. You will receive an email when the article is ready for download and within ILL it will look like this:
As a graduate student, you have a subsidy for ILL, so if a book is not available for free, we can still get it for you. You will receive an email that your request has been cancelled; resubmit so that ILL staff knows to use your subsidy:
Remember that the lending library determines how long you can keep an item and you MUST log into to ILL to request a renewal or check the date.
