You can search for articles a few different ways.
If you have a specific journal you want to search (such as Film Comment or Variety), find it in the catalog by Title.
Film Comment is available in print and electronically:
You can choose the electronic version, but just pay attention to the dates covered.

If you want to search by subject, you can use a database. There is an alphabetical listing of databases on the Library homepage, or you can go to the subject guide for CTVA.
Some databases, like J Stor, are full-text. Other databases provide just the abstracts with links to the full text.
For example, if you're searching for Man on Wire in EBSCOHost, you'll see a result like this:
Click on Find Text.
If the Library does NOT have access to the article, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). This is a free service, and most materials come within 1-2 weeks.
