Use an advanced Google search. Ex: parking problems site:.csun.edu
Searching other universities' websites
Use an advanced Google search to search within that college's website. Also to limit just to .edu websites, use this example: parking problems site:.edu
Searching CSUN's website for contact information to get information from a particular place (campus police, book store, etc.), use the search box on CSUN's homepage.
Finding campus news
Daily Sundial or search CSUN's homepage.
