Jewish Studies 300 - HUMANITIES IN JEWISH SOCIETY: ANCIENT & MEDIEVAL
The following library and Internet resources are geared toward the research needs of CSUN students taking Jewish Studies 200: Introduction to Judaism. Jewish Studies 300 is a course that covers the study of ancient and medieval Jewish culture examining literature, art and architecture, law, music, philosophy and science. Their distinctive genres, styles, methods of inquiry and creative processes will be examined; as will the links between these areas of Jewish culture, and their contribution to and dependence on similar expressions in non-Jewish cultures.
