MUS 601: Dissertations and theses

Theses of former CSUN students are available in the library for checkout. To browse theses, do a subject search in the catalog under Dissertations, Academic--CSUN--Music. Each thesis starts with the call number MT 7. Z95 and is in the stacks with a red or black binding.

As of Spring 2012, theses are being filed electronically.  To see digitized theses, go here.

To browse doctoral dissertations (including DMA), use Proquest Dissertations. Many dissertations are available as PDFs. For example, you can view Dr. Marinescu's DMA dissertation:

When only an abstract is available, you can request the full item by using Interlibrary Loan.

Chicago Manual of Style
This is the required style for this class, as well as for your thesis, and is available online. The library has several print copies. You can also consult the Turabian guide, which is based on Chicago.
