All faculty, staff and students must obtain a Campus Services Photo
I.D. card before they may use many of the Library services. The Photo
I.D. Card contains your 14-digit Library Barcode.
Activating your Barcode
Before you can use your barcode it needs to be activated in the Library's computer system. This is done automatically for students. Faculty and staff need to have their barcodes
activated at the Oviatt Library circulation desk.
Using your Barcode
You need an activated barcode to do any of the following:
- check out books and other library materials
- view items on E-Reserve
- renew books online
In addition, the Library's computer system requires you to have an activated barcode in order to use MetaSearch.
