Over the years, Old China Hands have enthusiastically maintained ties with each other through periodic reunions and the publication of newsletters and journals, often centering on a particular interest or cultural group. The Old China Hands Archive is interested in collecting these publications and has incomplete runs of several interesting ones. Among those in our collection are various issues of: The China Connection (no longer published), Igud Yot’se Sin, published in Israel in English, Hebrew and Russian, Scuttlebutt (newsletter of the China Marines, the organization of United States Marines who served in China), the Lusitano Bulletin, sponsored by the Lusitano Club of California "for its members and people of Portuguese descent of Macau and the Far East," the SASA News (newsletter of the Shanghai American School Association) and The Totem, journal of the Shanghai Boy Scouts.
We welcome donations of additional issues of these and any other newsletters or periodicals tracing the lives and activities of Old China Hands in China and elsewhere in the world.
