Depending on what you’re looking for, you can find information on brands in several places:

Brands and their Companies: is an ebook directory lists brands along with their owners and distributors. It is also helpful in identifying manufacturers.

Factiva database also will give you brand information. Here’s how to do it:

From the homepage, select COMPANY/MARKETS at the top and select COMPANY. Search for your company. From the results page, choose CUSTOM REPORT on the right-hand side of the page. Then select CUSTOM REPORT. Choose whichever categories suit your needs and search.  

You can find some articles talking about your brand in ABI/INFORM complete if you search on the product or brand name. You can also do this in Factiva by searching for the product or brand in the search box.  

Manufacturing information can be found in Manufacturing & Distribution U.S.A.: Industry Analyses, Statistics, and Leading Companies. This publication is located on the main floor of the library in the reference room.
