If your home was damaged in the fire, as an affliliate member of CTA (California Teachers Association), you are entitled to some funds from CTA. It isn't a lot, but every little bit helps.

The CTA Disaster Relief Fund is a separate, special fund just for members of CTA. The fund is endowed to provide financial assistance to CTA members who have experienced significant losses due to disasters in California. 

The fund provides financial assistance to CTA members who suffer significant losses due to disasters in California. The monies come from voluntary contributions from CTA members, and through CTA fund-raising drives throughout the year. Grants of $1,500 are available.
