Adding Footer Information

Date

1. Select the placeholder text in the editable region labeled "Date" and delete it.
   
2. In the top menu bar, select Insert > Date. The "Insert Date" dialog will open
3. Select the date format you want to use. Optionally, you can set Contribute to update the date automatically every time you edit and re-save or re-publish the page, by checking the bottom box.
   
4. Click OK.

Validation and Accessibility Icons

After you have tested your page for valid HTML and accessibility, you can insert the code that will display the requisite stickers and link to the relevant sites by accessing the Contribute Shared Assets.

1. Select the placeholder text in the editable region labeled "HTML/Bobby" and delete it.
2. In the top menu bar, select Insert > Shared Asset. The "Insert Shared Asset" dialog will open.
3. Select the shared asset you want to insert:
   • W3C_valid (signifies valid HTML 4.0)
   • WAI_AAA (signifies Level-3 accessibility)
   • WAI_AA (signifies Level-2 accessibility)
   • WAI_A (signifies Level-1 accessibility)
   • spacer (for inserting between adjacent stickers)
   • allAAA (valid HTML 4.0 + spacer + Level-3 accessibility)
4. Click OK.

Page URL

1. Select the placeholder text in the editable region labeled "Page_URL" and delete it. See "About Links to the New Site" for more information.
2. Type in the complete URL of the page, without a link.
