The image will drop, initially, to the left of wherever your cursor was when you inserted it. To reposition the image: right-click on the image you've just inserted and select Image Properties.
In the "Image Properties" dialog, set the Horizontal and Vertical padding to 10, and set the Alignment to Right. (Note: in Contribute you MUST set an align value of "TOP", "MIDDLE", "BOTTOM", "LEFT" or "RIGHT" for images, or your page will not validate). Optionally, you can also set the Border to 1 or 2. You can return to "Image Properties" later if you wish to change something. (NOTE: Do not change the display size of the image -- this will at best make for a fuzzy image. Instead, delete the image from the page, resize the image using the Contribute image tools.)

If you need to add or edit the ALT text for an image, open the page for editing, and select the image with your mouse. Right-click and select Image Properties. Type the necessary information into the "Description (ALT text)" box and click OK.
Contribute also allows you to resize, rotate, crop, sharpen, and adjust
the brightness and contrast of an image. Select the image with your mouse,
and the image editing toolbar will appear (if you don't see the toolbar,
click below the image once, then click the image once again).
Changing the width and height in the boxes of the image editing toolbar will actually resize the image, not just change its display size. If you want to discard any changes you've made to the image prior to publishing or republishing the page, right click on it and select Edit Image > Revert to Original.
