Managing Assets

Dreamweaver only permits you to create and upload HTML web pages. All other items, such as images, PDF documents, and Word Documents, need to be copied or uploaded into the local area of your site (the H:\WebSite2 folder) using Windows Explorer. Once they're there, Dreamweaver will find them and you can use Dreamweaver to upload them to the web server.

It is best to create folders within your H:\WebSite2 personal folder to contain each type of asset -- an images folder and a documents folder (for PDF, MSWord and Excel documents).
