Research Guide - Business Law
What is Business Law?
- Business law refers to the impact of laws in business. Generally speaking, when entities such as partnerships and corporations confront the legal system, they seek clarity or remedy in areas that deal with the legal principles that govern business. This includes, but is not limited, laws of property, contracts, commercial transactions, sales, debtor-creditor relations, government regulations of business, and employment law.
