Please join us to celebrate Open Access Week with a daylong discussion of open data for research and instruction.

Open Access: a Day of Data Program

In the morning Rob Gould (UCLA Department of Statistics) will talk about integrating open data into learning initiatives. There will also be presentations from CSUN Faculty from across the campus using open data and tools to foster student learning and research.

We will honor Steve Dudgeon (Biology), recipient of the Third Annual Library Open Access Award. Attendees will enjoy a light lunch.

The afternoon will feature presentations from guest speaker Trisha Cruse (Executive Director, DataCite) and CSUN Library faculty about open data management and access.
