Sex in the Library: The Oviatt Library

Sex in the Library: Scholarship, Exploration, and Intersectionality in the Archives is a four-day series of events co-sponsored and produced in partnership by Gender and Women’s Studies, the Pride Center, the Oviatt Library, and Queer Studies. All events are free and will take place in the Jack and Florence Ferman Presentation room on the Library’s garden level.

Day 3 Program:

  • Joseph R. Hawkins, Ph.D, University of Southern California, Director of ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives.
    “Collecting History and Pimping it Out with Art: A Strategy for Archival Development”
  • Ellen E. Jarosz, Special Collections and Archives Librarian, California State University, Northridge.
    “Can We Put This on the Website?: Working with Sex and Gender Collections in CSUN’s Special Collections and Archives”
