Ways to Give

Donate NowMaking a gift online is easy and a great way to support the Library. Follow this link to California State University's secure online donation form. You can choose to make a one time gift to the Library, or to set up recurring donations.

The Library's success is due in large part to the support of the community, and their continued financial support. The Library's mission is to support the academic programs of the University. In order to accomplish this mission, we must have a dynamic collection that will serve the needs of the faculty and the students. As new courses are added, or existing ones shift focus, the Library must be able to respond by purchasing new materials in support of these changes. By supporting the Library, you are not only benefiting the campus, students and faculty, you are helping to benefit the entire community. Find out Ways You Can Give

Friends of the CSUN Library

The Friends of the CSUN Library was founded so that members of the community might become active participants in the Library at California State University, Northridge.

Since its beginnings in 1956, CSU Northridge has rapidly grown into one of the largest universities in California. The Library has grown in size and prestige along with the campus. In order to ensure the continued quality of the Library's collection, and to extend the cultural resources of the Library into the community, the Friends of the CSUN Library group has been established.

The Friends is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the resources of the CSUN University Library.

Women in Science and Engineering (WISE)

In 2009, Professor Emeritus Bonita J. Campbell of the CSUN Department of Manufacturing Systems Engineering and Management established an endowment to "facilitate both the participation of women in science and engineering, particularly those fields in which they are insufficiently represented, and the development and preservation of knowledge about women in the science and engineering disciplines."

The mission of WISE is to encourage women to build careers in the fields of science and engineering; to advance in their careers; to preserve the story of women who have pioneered in the science and engineering disciplines; and to inform leaders and educators about the contribution that women make in these important fields.
