UNIQUE COLLECTIBLE MUSIC EDITIONS FROM THE AMERICAN GUITAR SOCIETY
The guitar music collection of Vahdah Olcott-Bickford, America's leading guitarist of the early 20th century, has recently been made available by the Vahdah Olcott-Bickford estate. Limited quantities of these rare albums published between 1920 and 1963, including music of the masters and other favorites that were transcribed or treasured by Mrs. Olcott-Bickford are now available through the International Guitar Research Archive. Publications of early 19th and 20th century music contain some of the first facsimile editions produced in the United States. Many volumes feature biographical sketches of the composers. The collection includes one of the first guitar concertos written in the 20th century, "Concerto Romantico," by Olcott-Bickford's husband, Zarh M. Bickford.
