This unique guitar library now contains more then 8,000 database entries representing the IGRA holdings. There are presently another 5,000 items to be added, all of which have been donated to the library from national and international artists. Since our move to the Oviatt Library, Special Collections & Archives, development of a Finders Index is currently underway.

Ordering Photocopies of Music

Copyright Policy:

At this time, IGRA provides photocopies for public domain items only. This includes 19th and early 20th century materials known to be free of copyright restrictions. Please read, sign, and FAX the Request For Reproductions Form with each order for our records. FAX: 1 (818) 677-3164

Preservation Policy:

Upon closer physical examination, we may be unable to satisfy your order due to light sensitivity, size or fragility of the original. Bound volumes, which are noted as "BV" in the catalog, are particularly susceptible to damage when photocopied. Because Special Collections & Archives is committed to the long-term preservation of the IGRA holdings, we may reserve the right to deny requests that put items at risk. Manuscripts and scribal copies produced in pencil or faint ink may pose some reproduction challenges. While our staff always attempt to make faithful, legible copies, but please understand that photocopying does possess some inherent limitations.

Placing Photocopy Orders:

Please consider your needs carefully in advance. Because IGRA is not staffed or equipped to handle large orders, please be selective and allow adequate time for staff to complete your order. Please note that some printed music includes cover wrappers of 3-4 pages. While wrappers do not include music, they may list publisher's series and advertisements. Please indicate whether you would like the wrappers included in your photocopy order. Please use the printable Order Form to place your request by fax to: 1 (818) 677-3164. Photocopying Service Fees:

Processing Fees:

A $5.00 processing fee will be applied to each separate order requested by non-CSUN students or faculty.

Commercial Use Fees:

If the IGRA holds the copyright to the material, a one-time use fee of $50.00 will be applied to all order requested by for- profit agencies. A one-time use fee of $50.00 will be applied to all orders requested for the use of materials for commercial publication. A one-time use fee of $250.00 will be applied to all orders requested for the use of materials for a commercial Web site, a motion picture or other forms of commercial public display.

Shipping & Handling Fees:

A $5.00 Shipping & Handling Fee will be applied to orders that require standard mailing. Additional charges may apply to orders requiring special handling or shipping. All orders placed outside the USA will be sent by First Class Book Rate.

Making Payments:

After an order has been received, users will be sent an invoice. Orders are filled once a personal check (USA only), draft or international money order has been received. Orders accompanied by a money order or international draft will be completed immediately.
Orders placed within the USA in US dollars, including payment by money order or bank draft, should be made payable to: "IGRA"
