Browsing: Many health statistics books and serials are located in the Library of Congress call number starting with RA407 on Floor 3 of the Oviatt Library. Additional locations possible are Stored(ASRS East), and the Reference Room. Please note that Table 4 in the Reference Room also has publications which give data by zipcode.

Searching: Use the Library Catalog to find books and journals on a topic. If you don't know a specific title, then start with a KEYWORD search. The following links search the catalog with SUBJECT HEADINGS

American Statistics Index and Statistical Reference Index are major indexes that enable you to identify statistics published in the United States. The Oviatt Library owns these in paper copy, shelved on Reference Room Table 8. The online equivalent, the Statistical Universe database, is available at the Los Angeles Public Library in the Central Library's Business and Economics Department.
