Identify five (5) items on emotional intelligence and managers in health related databases and list the items using APA format.
Annotate whether item is available
- online, if yes, which database?
- in print in CSUN library, if yes, what call number and floor?
- if item(s) are not available, online or in print, indicate how you would get this on interlibrary loan (check WorldCat for items availability)
- retrieve a copy of one (1) article, print it out and attach it to your annotated bibliography.

Learn How to do Library and Internet research: determine information need, choose best resources, develop a search strategy, understand keyword and subject searching, how to use boolean operators and truncation symbols, how to cite sources, and more.

Information Sources: Health Sciences to identify useful databases. Most databases offer Find Text 
link for each record which helps you identify is CSUN owns the item. If CSUN does not own the item, it will offer a link to the ILL loan service.
Health Sciences Multisearch to search up to ten (10) databases simultaneously.
PubMed - includes Medline, MedlinePlus, and several other databases. Learn about MeSH subject headings, and creating a NCBI account
Medline (ISI) --need to be a registered CSUN student but also offers access to Endnote Web for help in citing resources.
Health Reference Center Academic (Gale) and General OneFile (Gale)- its subject headings, its citation tools for help with API style .
ABI Inform (Proquest) - has several health administrations journals
Library Catalog and the CSUN List of Electronic Journals to find books and journals on your topic.

Class Exercise: Look up the following 5 periodical titles, and identify (circle Yes or No), for each title and each of these three questions: Does CSUN have a current subscription? Do we get the periodical in print? Do we get it online?
