Library Research Tips for Health Science 337: Nutrition and Health

The goal of your library session is to help you to develop basic research skills for accessing information.
You will learn how to choose a topic, create a search strategy, search CSUN databases to find articles on your topic.
Sample topics: Protein and malnutrition, latest research on soy, Atkins diet, healthy eating in later years, nutrigenomics, food safety.

- Use MetaSearch to create your own personal list of resources, e-journals, searches, and research alerts as well be able to search up to 10 databases at a time
