Objectives of this session are:

• Introduce you to the physical layout of the Oviatt Library
  • Main floor- Oviatt lobby, Circulation desk, Information desk, Reference desk, reference collection, ASRS viewing room (East wing), 3 teaching labs, Interlibrary Loan office, Assistive technology room and Friends bookstore (West wing).
  • Floor 2-Special Collections and Reading Room(East wing), Music and Media (West Wing), books for LC classification A -M subjects General works, Philosophy, Psychology, Geography History, Anthropology, Social Sciences, Business, Education, Law, Music
  • Floor 3, Admin offices (East Wing), Computer Labs with word processing and spread sheet software(west wing) -books for LC classifications N-Z for Fine Arts, Languages, Literature, Science, Medicine, Technolgy, Military, Naval sciences, Library Science and Bibliography
  • Floor 4 -Reserve reading room, Current periodicals and microfilm (West wing), Technical Processing Dept. East wing.....Bound journals 1990 -

• Remote access (VPN and/or activate your 14 digit barcode) , library and campus has wireless access
• Offer you time for questions and hands on experience with the research databases for your discipline
