• Learn How to do Library and Internet research: determine information need, choose best resources, explains primary resources, develop a search strategy, understand keyword and subject searching, how to use boolean operators and truncation  symbols, how to cite sources, and more.
• Learn how to use Find Articles and Research Data Communication Disorders + Sciences
• Learn about Communication Disorders Multisearch and search up to ten (10) databases simultaneously as well as save records from diverse resources in your electronic folder. Be aware when you search up to ten (10) databases NOT all databases may be giving accurate retrievals.
• Learn how to use the Library Catalog to find books and journals on your topic.  
• Read carefully how to How to Locate Articles Online or in print in the Library & : FAQ
• Register for CSUN's Interlibrary Loan
• Become familiar with the separate features of the resources recommended in Communication Disorders:Research guide for Speech, Hearing and Language . Using the native interfaces of different databases you will have access to more features.
• Understand there are several ways to get to the library databases, so if one access is not working, try the other.
