Assignment: Begin a review of literature in your area of interest.  Some possible topics include: aquatic exercise interventions for those who are obese, aquatic and land walking interventions for those individuals who are post-stroke, aquatic strength interventions for those individuals who are post-stroke, aquatic exercise intervention and/or alternative medicine approaches for those individuals with arthritis

The goals of this library session are:

• Learn How to do Library and Internet research:
  • determine information need,
  • choose best resources,
  • develop a search strategy,
  • understand keyword and subject searching,
  • how to use boolean operators and truncation  symbols,
  • how to cite sources
• Learn how to use MetaLib to create your own personal list of resources, e-journals, searches, and research alerts and search up to ten (10) databases simultaneously.
  • use both MetaLib and the native interfaces-look for various controlled vocabulary
