Assignment:Find articles that discuss various play theories. (Research tip: consider using keywords identify the play theory, and/or the name of the person who proposed the theory in your search strategy)
The goals of the library sessions are:
- Learn How to do Library and Internet research: determine information need, choose best resources, develop a search strategy, understand keyword and subject searching, how to use boolean operators and truncation symbols, how to cite sources, and more.
- Learn how to use the Library Catalog to find books and journals on your topic. For items we have in print in the library, you need the Floor number and call number. For material we get online, follow the link in the box that advises Available Electronically.

Provides full text for nearly 1,850 periodicals, including more than 1,250 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to the full text, indexing and abstracts are provided for all 3,237 periodicals in the collection. This database offers information in nearly every area of academic study. EbscoHost offers several more databases, ERIC and PsycInfo .
- InfoTrac OneFile (Thomson Gale)
this database meets research needs across all academic disciplines. Access over 9,000 scholarly journals, and general interest news magazines and newspapers - over half contain full text and images. Search specific keywords using the Advanced Search or browse subjects using the Subject Guide. Coverage is from 1980 to the present. Use InfoTRAC PowerSearch to search several additional databases including 200 encyclopedias.
