Possible topics for the Assignment: Topics that have been used in the past that lend themselves to research/evaluation include but are NOT limited to:" travel and state, tourist trade, recreation, leisure, play therpay, children's plan, adult's play, recreation therapy, national parks. Some more detailed examples are: seasonal homes, nature-based recreation, community musical festivals, after school programs, YMCA, and camp directors."
.The goals of the library sessions are:
- Learn How to do Library and Internet research: determine information need, choose best resources, develop a search strategy, understand keyword and subject searching, how to use boolean operators and truncation symbols, how to cite sources, and more.
- Learn how to use the Library Catalog to find books and journals on your topic. For items we have in print in the library, you need to either write down the Floor and call number or text message location and call number to yourself. For material we get online, follow the link in the box that advises Available Electronically.
