The Future of Academic Libraries

Join us for a presentation by Brian Schottlaender, the Audrey Geisel University Librarian at the University of California, San Diego, who will be speaking about “The Future of Academic Libraries.” Some of the topics he will be addressing on November 14th are:
- Changes in the role of librarians
- Changes in the role of support staff
- Changes in services to students and faculty
- Changes in physical collections
- Changes in facilities/buildings
- Changes in the ways we think about preservation and access to information, especially in regard to digitization
- Partnerships with on-campus and off-campus entities
