Circulation of Books to AP High School Students : Trial Period


  1. Trial period to begin with January 1998, and continue for one year.
  2. Offer to be extended to valley area LAUSD high schools (we are currently working with 17 schools on the the Information Competence grant proposal).
  3. School will send a list of AP students who are eligible for borrowing privileges to the CSUN circulation department at the beginning of the high school semester or track. A list may be sent covering summer school (July and August) if there are AP cla sses during that time, or if there are assigned summer reading lists.
  4. Students must first use the library in their home school, and then be referred by the Library Media Teacher at their school and their parent or guardian.
  5. Three (3) books at any one time, two weeks non-renewable.
  6. Bills for lost or overdue books will be sent to the student's home, with a copy to the school. A fee of $5.00 will be charged to replace a lost ID card.
