Program:

This workshop is Phase II of the Authority Workshop conducted earlier in June. Phase I concentrated on "Reading and Interpreting Authority Records." Phase II will concentrate on "Creating Authority Records." There will be a quick review of what was covered in the first workshop (for those who did not attend), followed by exercises covering creation of authority records for series, personal and corporate names. The participants will be provided with workform printouts to work with. At the end of each session the complete authority records the particpants worked on will be displayed on the screen for corrections and questions.
