Basic Map Cataloging 

The primary objective of this workshop is to give the participant a basic knowledge level, and the necessary skills, to ensure creation of accurate and high-quality bibliographic records for sheet maps. At the very least, the participant will come away with a good understanding of the differences inherent between maps and other formats of material, primarily monographs, as well as the variability encountered in individual maps and map sets.
