SCCTP Advanced Serials Cataloging Workshop

Program: This two day workshop is an in-depth course on the rules and practices applied to original cataloging of serials and while it focuses on print serials, the instructions are applicable to serials in any format. The course is designed for people who have at least taken the SCCTP Basic Serials Cataloging Workshop or who have been active serials catalogers for more than one year and are familiar with MARC serials tagging and fundamental approaches to serials cataloging

Managing the Electronic Monster: the Impact on the Library User

Program: The Southern California Technical Processes Group (SCTPG) is proud to announce that it will present a program on managing electronic resources and the impact on library users. The Program will be held Friday, Nov. 21, at the CSU Northridge Presentation Room in the library. Registration includes handouts and lunch. The panel and topics include:
