The objectives of SEAL shall be to provide opportunities
for professional development, education, and participation
for its members;to sponsor relevant workshops and programs;
to provide a forum for peer interaction and networking; to
enhance communication and services to our library clientele;
and to work with other California organizations in order to
improve library service to the science and engineering

Abstract: This poster session is a celebration of 20 years of SEAL-South (Science and Engineering Academic Librarians) activities (from 1982-2002). An overview of SEAL South programs and field trips will highlight just how far science libraries have come during the last twenty years. SEAL South past programs mark historical changes in libraries and will serve as the platform for SEALís future showcasing of the power of academic libraries.
