Feel free to start your search at the University Library website. There are several ways you can look for books at the Library website, and best of all, these resources are free!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Looking for books in the Library website<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Course Reserves are course materials and\/or textbooks that have been purchased for use within specific courses. <a href=\"http:\/\/library.csun.edu\/CourseReserves\">Search Course Reserves <\/a>from the library&#8217;s homepage to see if the Library carries an electronic version of a textbook for a course.<\/li>\n<li>Current or older electronic editions of textbooks can sometimes be found searching the Library\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/library.csun.edu\/\">OneSearch<\/a> tool so feel free to look there too!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to searching at the Library website, take a look at the the following online resources for purchasing and comparing textbooks prices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purchase textbooks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You can always check out the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bkstr.com\/csunorthridgestore\/home\/en?cm_mmc=Redirect-_-VanityURL-_-matador.bkstr.com-_-10057\">Matador Bookstore<\/a> for all your textbooks.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.dealoz.com\/price\/index\">DealOz<\/a>\u00a0compares prices against various booksellers, including Amazon, half.com, abe books, and more! This is not just for textbooks, you can search for any book.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.valorebooks.com\/\">ValoreBooks<\/a>\u00a0 is\u00a0specifically for textbooks, including new, used, rentals, and alternative editions.<\/li>\n<li>Did you know that you can buy international versions of textbooks at a discounted prices? As you search online you\u2019ll noticed them labeled as \u201cinternational\u201d or \u201calternative\u201d most of the time they are identical, sometimes paperback instead of hardcover and the ISBN might be different.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Rent, buy or sell textbooks<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Matador bookstore has a rental program, create an account and see what\u2019s available at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bkstr.com\/csunorthridgestore\/home\">Follet Rentals<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bookbyte.com\/\">BookByte<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bookfinder.com\/textbooks\/\">BookFinder<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusbooks.com\/\">CampusBooks.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chegg.com\/\">Chegg<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Search additonal ways to find electronic resources and books<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Due to COVID19, many publishers are making their resources temporarily available.
