The Creative Media Studio (CMS) is a space where students of any major can have access to a variety of multimedia design and production tools, all funded by the Campus Quality Fee. As the University Library’s growing Makerspace, experimentation is encouraged and students are able to learn from their failures without penalty.

Located on the Main Floor, West Wing of the Learning Commons, the CMS provides all currently enrolled CSUN students with the resources and support needed for prototyping, collaboration, and digital creation/modeling/editing at no extra cost.

NEW! 1.25-Inch and 3-Inch Button Maker Presses now available inside the CMS. Create your very own buttons with magnet, pinback, or thumbtack backings at no extra cost!
