Hi everyone! April 8-13, 2018 is National Library Week and that means we will be honoring everyone who works at the Oviatt as well as all Matadors. We are offering several activities to celebrate! Get your tattoo on with a temporary “I Love the Oviatt” tattoo on Monday, April 9 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Library lobby. On Tuesday, April 10 a librarian from LAPL will be here from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. with information about obtaining a LAPL card and to answer any questions you may have about their popular Library programs.
You won’t want to miss our Staff Picks Favorite Book display that will be in the Library Learning Commons. You can also enter a drawing to win a $50 Barnes & Noble gift card. Look for details at the Staff Picks Favorite Books display. We hope to see you in the Library to help us celebrate National Library Week! The schedule of activities follows:
Monday, April 9 – temporary tattoos will be available in the Library lobby from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Tuesday, April 10 – a LAPL librarian will be in the Library lobby from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. to assist with obtaining LAPL cards and to provide information about popular LAPL programs.
April 9-13 – CSUN students can enter a drawing in the Learning Commons to win a $50 Barnes & Noble Gift card. Stop by the Oviatt Library Staff Picks Favorite Books display featuring some of our favorite books and enter to win. Also, see what we are reading and check out a book!
