Hello Matadors! Each year in April National Library Week celebrates and honors those who work in libraries. This year, the University Library invites you to celebrate as well with two special opportunities. First, we invite you to visit our National Library Week virtual book display which features favorite reads of University Library employees. Within the display, you will be able to find out about books you may be interested in reading and learn about our Library employees – what they do in the Library, and a fun fact or two about them. All of the books in the display are available digitally through LAPL, LA County Libraries, or the University Library.

Second, we would like to know what you are reading or if you have a favorite book to recommend! If you tell us about a favorite book, you will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card to Books Inc., the largest independent bookstore in the West. So feel free to let us know about your favorite book by entering the drawing. We will share CSUN student book recommendations on the National Library Week virtual book display webpage following National Library Week.

For more information and to enter the drawing, please visit our National Library Week virtual book display. Happy National Library Week and happy reading!
