Hello Matadors! Celebrate Pride Month with the Oviatt Library during the month of June! The “month-long celebration demonstrates how Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Americans have strengthened our country, by using their talent and creativity to help create awareness and goodwill” (Library of Congress). There are several ways Matadors can participate. We invite you to explore the books on display in the Library Learning Commons that feature influential works associated with the LGBTQIA+ experience and legacy. Come in and check out these books any time.
There are also local events that will inspire and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ experience.
