Hello Matadors! Next Tuesday, September 24 is National Voter Registration Day! National Voter Registration Day celebrates our democracy, and it takes place each year on the fourth Tuesday of September to ensure everyone has the opportunity to vote. Unfortunately, millions of Americans find themselves unable to vote on election day because they are not aware and miss their registration deadline, don’t update their registration, or aren’t sure how to register. We at the Oviatt Library would like to assist Matadors in registering or re-registering to vote!
We will be hosting a voter registration and re-registration table in the Library lobby from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on September 24. Please stop by if you would like to register or re-register to vote. Also, if you are not sure about your registration status, you can find out if you are already registered by stopping by our table or by visiting our Voter Registration page. We’ll also do our best to answer any other voter registration questions you may have.
