About the Library

The CSUN University Library is a welcoming space that provides educational, cultural and information services and resources to the students, faculty, and the community. Its primary mission is to support and supplement classroom and independent learning; facilitate student and faculty research; and provide students with lifelong skills in identifying, locating, evaluating and synthesizing information.

California State University, Northridge (CSUN) proudly recognizes and acknowledges the Sesevitam, the first people of this ancestral and unceded territory of Sesevenga, which is now occupied by the University. It honors their elders, past and present, and the Sesevitam descendants, who are citizens of the FernandeƱo Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. We recognize that the Sesevitam are still here, and we are committed to lifting up their stories, culture, and community.
