Music & Media supports the music, cinema and theater curricula at CSUN, and provides instructional media complementing many other campus disciplines.
Special Collections & Archives
Special Collections & Archives in the University Library is the home of CSUN's rare book and periodical collections, as well as its archival and manuscript collections.
Digital Collections
The University Library Digital Collections feature historically significant documents, photographs, oral histories, artistic works and exhibit materials selected from the University Library's Special Collections and Archives.
Teacher Curriculum Center (TCC)
The Teacher Curriculum Center (TCC) is the K-12 curriculum materials library for California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and as such serves as a resource for instructional materials to CSUN students, faculty, and community educators.
Government Documents
The Library is a selective depository for government documents published by the governments of the United States and the State of California.
Map Collection
The University Library Map Collection is a research-level collection of historical, thematic, and government document maps in support of CSUN students, staff, and faculty.
Periodicals, Newspapers, and Microform
Print periodicals and newspapers are on the Main Floor of the Library. Microform materials can be checked out from the Guest Services Desk.
Reference
The Library maintains a large electronic and print collection of reference materials providing factual information or directing patrons to further sources for that information.
Deaf Related Materials
The NCOD Resource Center was established in 1978 to house one of the nation's largest collections of deaf-related books, journals, dissertations, videotapes, DVDs, CDs and documents.
Robert and Maureen Gohstand Reading Room Collection
A collection of books intended to encourage reading for recreation and enjoyment, for an appreciation of great and compelling writing, for introspection and insight, as well as for the acquisition of general knowledge and the encouragement of lifelong learning.
