Explore the Learning Commons
Occupying most of the Main Floor, the Learning Commons is your one-stop-shop for multiple in-person resources and services. Check out books and materials, get help from a librarian or IT tech, borrow a laptop or tablet, print documents, get creative at the Creative Maker Studio, or grab a coffee.
Device Loaner Program
The Device Loaner Program makes laptops, tablets, hotspots, headsets, and webcams available for semester-long loans. Requires reservation.
Printing
Both black & white and color printing is available. Students receive $10 free printing allowance each semester through the Lab Printing @ CSUN program.
Collaborative Study Areas
Both open technology-enabled tables with monitors and glassed-in unwired multi-user spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

In-person research consultations are available during Reference Desk hours. You can also get online help any time from a librarian using our live chat.
Technology Support
Library Technology Services, the Creative Maker Studio, and the CSUN IT Help Desk provide a wide range of specialized support depending on your question.
Desktop Computers
Both PC and Mac desktops are available on a walk-in basis for current CSUN students. Limited visitor computer stations are also available.
Assistive Technology Rooms
Three rooms offer AT equipment for current CSUN students who have been trained on the equipment by Disability Resources and Educational Services (DRES) staff.
Creative Maker Studio
The Creative Maker Studio (CMS) offers 3D printing, a recording studio, vinyl cutter, equipment checkout, and more for current CSUN students.
Self-Serve Scanning
Free scanning is available to everyone through user-friendly, self-serve ScannX scanners. You can scan to USB, E-Mail, Box, and Phone/Tablet.
