Technology Support
The Learning Commons located on the main floor of the University Library is home to a wide range of technology-based support services. Library Technology Services, the Creative Maker Studio, and the CSUN IT Help Desk are three service points you can visit to receive specialized technology support depending on your question. Library Technology Services Support
Library Technology Services (LTS) provides technology support for Library hardware/software. This includes answering informational and technological support questions regarding library devices and services. LTS is strictly associated with the Library. Supported technology and services include:
- All laptops/tablets and devices checked out from the LTS desk
- Library lab technology
- Public Computer support
- Includes software offered on Library devices
- Visitor computers
- Printing help
- Scanning assistance
- Public Computer support

Creative Maker Studio Software/Hardware Help
The Creative Maker Studio (CMS) offers assistance and training for supported multimedia software and hardware as well as provides advice or recommendations for fulfilling your creative vision. Supported technology and services include:
- All items in Multimedia Equipment Checkout from the CMS.
- Creative Software Support
- Includes software offered on CMS West Wing lab computers
- Expertise available on Video, Photo, and Audio recording and editing
- Includes in-person assistance with the onsite recording studio
- 3D printing/modeling

CSUN IT Help Desk
Adjacent to the Library Technology Services desk, the CSUN IT Help Desk offers assistance with questions and issues related to CSUN technology and other campus applications. Supported technology and services include:
- Canvas
- CSUN email
- MyNorthridge Portal
- User ID and Passwords
- Wireless network
- Software downloads/accessibility on personal computers
- Adobe CC Licenses
- DUO Multifactor Authentication issues
