Celebrando Cultura: Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month

The University Library is happy to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th with our Celebrando Cultura series. This year we have a great event featuring two guest speakers for our online event Celebrando Cultura: Poetry and Playlists, a slideshow in the Library's ASRS Viewing room featuring images from ARTStor Celebrano Cultura: Landscapes of Latin America. As well, there is a book display located in the Library Learning Commons featuring a selection of books from Hispanic and Latin American authors.

The University Library proudly presents CELEBRANDO CULTURA: Poetry and Playlists, with CSUN Professor & Poet Ramón García and 88.5 FM LatinAlt DJ Byron Gonzalez.

Celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month with us, and enjoy an eclectic mix of poems and music.

CSUN Chicana/o Studies Professor Ramón García is the author of two books of poetry The Chronicles and Other Countries and a monograph on the artist Ricardo Valverde.
