Starting on Tuesday, August 22nd students may request a laptop, tablet, hotspot headset, and/or webcam through the Portal. After making a request and scheduling and appointment, devices will be available for pickup at the LTS desk as of Wednesday, August 23rd. For more information, please visit the Device Loaner Program.
The Library Technology Services (LTS) desk located on the Main Floor of the Library offers a variety of devices for checkout to current CSUN students during service desk operating hours.
In collaboration between Campus IT and the Library, Device Loaner Program laptops, tablets, hotspots, headsets, and webcams are available for semester-long loans. After making a device request through the Portal and scheduling an appointment, devices will be available for pickup at the LTS desk.
After requesting a device through the Portal, students must create a pickup appointment through QLess to secure a timeslot to pick up your device(s) at the Library Technology Services Desk and complete the device request. Please note that only one appointment is needed if you have multiple device requests to pick up. Those without an appointment will be turned away.
Library Tech Accessory Checkout (3-Hour)
The LTS desk also makes available a variety of technology accessories such as chargers, adapters, headphones, webcams, graphing calculators, and more. Accessories are available for 3-hour checkout to current students, faculty, and staff during service desk operating hours and can be used onsite during your time in the Library.
