Luann Rocha

We Would Like You to Meet: Luann Rocha

Winter 2014

The Oviatt’s new Director of Development, Luann Rocha, has traveled a diverse and inspiring career path; one that in many ways has come full-circle. Now, fortunately for us, that path has led her back to the Library.

Librarian Del Williams

We Would Like you to Meet: Del Williams

Fall 2014

Acquisitions Librarian Del Williams is one of three new faculty members starting in Collection Access and Management Services (CAMS) this fall. A lifetime of rich experience and her deep roots in the CSUN community make Del an ideal addition.

Del Williams arrived at CSUN in fall 1982 as a brand new freshman, and she immediately got a job shelving books as a student assistant in Library Circulation.

Tony Ivankovic

We Would Like You to Meet: Tony Ivankovic

Summer 2014

When the Oviatt Library and the National Center on Deafness (NCOD) set out to find someone who could help to better serve the needs of CSUN students who use the NCOD Library, all signs clearly pointed to Anthony Ivankovic.  The newly created NCOD Library Coordinator position will supervise the NCOD Library in Chisolm Hall and work part of the time in Guest Services at the Oviatt. Anthony Ivankovic officially started work as the NCOD Library Coordinator in the Oviatt Library on May 21, but he is no stranger to the Library or to CSUN.

David Morck

We Would Like You to Meet: David Morck

Spring 2014

What would be the result if you combined a highly skilled web programmer and a uniquely gifted poet? Our guess would be the Library’s very own multi-talented David Morck of course.

Long before considering a college career, David Morck already had developed a keen interest in technology and deep appreciation of language. David was born in Pasadena, California and raised in a household with a father who was an engineer and a mother who held advanced degrees in both English and psychology, so David had the importance of education instilled in him very early.

Librarian Michael Barrett

We Would Like you to Meet: Michael Barrett

Winter 2013

In the season and spirit of giving, we would like to introduce Michael Barrett, a member of the Oviatt family whose very presence has been an inspirational gift to the entire CSUN community for the last four decades.  Michael Barrett was born in Bakersfield, California, where he was raised on his family’s farm. After high school, he began his path into higher education close to home at Bakersfield College.
