
What's New: Alumna Julieanna Hever Brings Plant-Based Nutrition Expertise to the CSUN Community
Spring 2019
In a collaboration between the Marilyn Magaram Center and the College of Health and Human Development, the Friends of the Oviatt Library are pleased to welcome Julieanna Hever, M.S., R.D., C.P.T. back to the campus to share the essence of her bestselling book, Plant-Based Nutrition (Idiots Guide) 2nd Edition. Julieanna travels the globe to share her passion for healing and happiness through a whole food, plant-based diet.

What's New at the Oviatt Library: Summer Moves and Renovations
Fall 2018
It may have seemed like a quiet Summer here on campus, but there was plenty of activity at the Oviatt Library. Big moves and renovations took place including the Teacher Curriculum Center and Music & Media merging into one space, an expansion and renovation of the Library Technology Services area, and preparations for our campus Map Library to migrate into a new space.

What's Up: Robert Landau

Join the Friends of the Oviatt Library as they host a luncheon with photographer/author Robert Landau, who will share insights and images from his uniquely L.A. inspired book, Rock ‘N’ Roll Billboards of the Sunset Strip.
Los Angeles native Robert Landau was clearly a kid destined to become a photographer. In 1969, a young Landau began shooting his first pictures, which were the colorful sights around his Hollywood home.

A university’s library is often the heart of its campus. Much more than just a place for students to gather, do homework, study for finals, or work on a group projects, a university Library functions as both a symbol of the power of education and as a touchstone for a university’s pulse and spirit.
